David Aylor is an accomplished lawyer with over 10 years of experience working as a criminal defense attorney and civil litigator. He currently serves as Partner and CEO of David Aylor Law Offices, a South Carolina-based firm covering a diverse range of specialties including criminal defense, personal injury, auto accidents, DUI defense, and much more. Since 2007, David Aylor has been building the thriving law practice and establishing a dynamic and experienced presence throughout Charleston and greater Lowcountry.
In addition to his success as a criminal defense attorney and civil litigator, David is the acting Prosecutor for the City of Hanahan, SC. Prior to this appointment, he served as Assistant Solicitor in the Ninth Circuit Solicitor’s Office for Charleston County. David’s participation in the government sector provides him with a comprehensive view of how the law works on both sides of the courtroom. Being exposed to this unique perspective better equips David to ensure that his clients are treated fairly, giving him an advantage in the courtroom.

David Aylor is a graduate of the College of Charleston, earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. He later went on to attend the University of South Carolina School of Law, earning his J.D. in 2006. David is licensed to practice law in all South Carolina State Courts; U.S. District Court District of South Carolina; U.S. Court of Appeals 4th Circuit; and the U.S. Supreme Court. Furthermore, he has worked on cases in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Virginia, West Virginia, and New York, and Massachusetts.
Outside of his professional endeavors, David Aylor is a dedicated philanthropist who cares deeply about giving back to his community. He serves as a volunteer judge for the Charleston School of Law Moot Court and is an acting member of the South Carolina Bar Pro Bono Program. He is a participant in the Attorney Assistance Program at The College of Charleston and MUSC, which provides free consultations, legal advice and discounted rates for students.
